For example, your shopping basket will be taken with you when visiting one of our other websites (see our stores in the top bar) and we collect data to gain a better understanding of how our websites are experienced by users.

Which cookies do we use?

Functional cookies

Functional cookies are intended to make our site function properly.

- If you leave your details on the checkout page and make a mistake, you do not have to enter all your details again, the cookies ensure that the completed fields are temporarily saved. This information will not be shared with third parties.

- We remember your shopping basket for a week so that if you cancel your visit with us, you will not lose your shopping basket the next day.

Analyzing cookies

Analyzing cookies are used to gain insight into how customers use our websites. On which pages customers stay for a long time and on which pages they are leaving quickly. With this information we can improve our websites a little more over time.

- We use Google Analytics to collect this information. All data will be deleted after 26 months. We do not share this information with third parties.

Why do you not have to accept cookies on our site?

As of 26 May 2018, the new EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) has been introduced to ensure that companies handle the data collected from customers more carefully. According to this Regulation companies have to ask permission to use cookies on their site, because some cookies are carrying privacy sensitive information. For example, there are cookies that remember your IP address so that they can show your targeted ads the next time you are on the internet. Because we do not use privacy sensitive cookies, we don’t have a cookie pop up bar.

At Belts4him.co.uk we only use:

- functional cookies because otherwise our websites would not function properly. We do not store any data about you.

- analytical cookies to improve our websites. In addition, we do not store IP addresses or other privacy sensitive information.

With us you can shop safely without having to worry about your surfing behavior and IP address being known and without giving your personal details to third parties.
